Washington, DC Trip

We had a great trip to DC. We flew out Friday night and returned to Minnesota Tuesday night. We landed in heavy winds and rains (remnants of some hurricane or another). We got drenched, but Abby is simply a great traveler! She just takes it all in and keeps on going!




Abby and Langston had a great reunion and played and played and laughed and laughed!

We drove to Charlottesville and Abby played with her godsister Ellen and godbrothers Ben and John Beckett.

We stayed with our friends Asma and Dagfinn and their children Aliya and Alex. Abby had fun playing with Aliya and Alex and especially liked watching Chitty, Chitty, Bang Bang with Aliya.

Langston played hookie from school on Tuesday and spent the day with us at museums. We had lunch at Elevation Burger and gelato at the National Gallery of Art!
